Apothecary and Chaplain are fantastic, the rest are damn good, but theirs something about your red i dont like, i cant seem to pin it down though...hmm |

I disagree, I think its a good solid colour, with subtle highlights. |

I like it! Not only is the paint job to Lev's excellent standards, he's done a red army that isn't Blood Angels or Blood Ravens! Well done mate! Well done indeed! |

ha ha. Yes, the red is interesting. It caused me much grief. I tend to do subtle highlights that the camera eats up, their nicer in the flesh (plastic?) The red has a terracotta base with the old red gore over the top highlighted with blood red. It was a nightmare. I originally planned a big inca/mayan theme but couldnt afford the bits at the time. These are a few years old and have seen a long and not always glorious campaign though! and there is still fight in them, the devs have seen service alongside my ravens and the vets too. |
