For once, I found a helmet that fit... Normally, when they say you can try this on, I take one look and think if I succeed in getting my head in that, it's not going to come off, and have visions of fire crews being called to release me.



My claim to fame... that's Mike Fossum, one of the crew of STS-124. Good night that one, got to meet the crew of the shuttle, and indulge a 4 course Indian banquet, and (never look a gift horse in the mouth) it was all free.



Meet the dog... he'll let you in the house, but won't let you out. He's good at sneaking (as befits a RG player's dog) and loves shredding paper. At Christmas and birthdays, it's a race as to who can unwrap first. When you've been shopping, he always knows which bag has his food in it.

uh, i think this was from my drysuit cert. but im not sure, that was a long time ago


spring break - free dive spearfishing in the dry tortugas woooohooo. Between this old fort and i are a series of underwater ruins. On my way back in i looked down into one of the ruins and saw an 11 foot tiger shark - it took alot of willpower to not $hit my wetsuit. I opted to fish on the other side of the island for the rest of the day.

figured id put this up in spirit of Halloween weekend, humanities greatest celebration of the year (how often do you see streets adorned with french maids and victorias secret angels on christmas eh? thats what i thought. then again, i do live in one of the biggest college towns in the country...) Hammered with my roomies - i obviously am having great difficulty seeing the photographer, and am leaning on both my roomies. oh god. ><


slight backstory, later that night

roomate #1 it was odd, i thought i heard noise coming from a cardboard TV box in the middle of our living room earlier in the night, but dismissed it - i thought my roomie had gone to his GFs house. When i awoke in the morning, the box was exploded open with my roomate sprawled out on the ground ontop of it. Mystery solved. he passed out inside of a box. We think he climbed in there looking for a can of peanuts and wound up getting stuck, so he opted to fall asleep.

i passed out on living room floor next to roomate #2. i however, had moved the microwave from the counter to the floor (unscrewing it from the cabinets in the process), then opened the microwave door, and fell asleep with my head inside of the microwave. At least i found a bag of cheerios to rest my head on in there.

roomate #2 on the right passed out behind our couch with a single Ski boot on one foot, a dive fin on the other, a ski helmet, roomate #1's aviator sunglasses on and wearing a halo headset still connected to a controller (he was a mummy and was NOT wearing skiboots for ANY reason earlier in the night)

none of us know why we passed out where we did.

the two girlfriends that stayed the night in the apt managed to find the beds -they went to bed earlier than we did- all three of us woke up to them laughing at us in the morning.




update - roomie #1 passed out in the in box because he was running away screaming "COLD PAIN" from the brainfreeze he got from eating a quart of mint icecream.

It's been awhile...Yes i've popped in every now and again...Now i'm busy heading the Law Society.

Sy, glad you are still around, this place would go to rack and ruin other wise! (although I think some one has jammed a lightning claw in the coke machine - guess they wanted diet huh)
