As it may be known, i have decided to move the old PA forces of mine to 5th ed.

This is what i am converting/rearming of the Salamanders.
They deserved an upgrade, but i couldnt get me to jump on the vulcan bandwagon.
With a long listbuilding process, this army has arrived at too many points to mention.

Here we go:
-Termies lost heavy flamer arms and got stormbolters since i cant have 2 heavy in 5 anymore.
-4 assaulttermies were sent by friendly chapters to serve now with the sons of nocturne.
-1 captain was used to be the new "seargent" even if the squad normally has not a remarkable sgt.
-1 AoBr termie ( WD ) found a home in the asssault termie squad.
-1 termie replaced his powersword with a chainfist.
-all termies had their bases expanded to 40mm.
-( karton + landscape mortar = bigger base )
-took the old special weapon troopers and changed some to combi weapons with plastic boltguns
( could equip a company with spare bolter )
-recruted sternguard vets and 2 other vets.
-tacked the old heavy flamers from the termies onto the 2 veterans.

-will add spare landspeeder
-will un-smurf Sicarius
-have to find some hammers and stormshields and 4 vets for the command squad

Nearly completed the Landspeeder and added some details to the termie bases.

Next steps:

-The sicarius model needs to be "salliefied" ( new creation ? ).
-Veterans need to be found and inducted into the command squad.

hey fhad just a quick one, the attachments are massive so maybe image poster (if it decides to work) may be better.

otherwise they're looking really good, where did you get the metal veterans with the sunbuirst shoulder pads btw?

I know theyre massive... but attachments cant be resized so its either post anywhere and link here or
try Image-only-sometimes-poster... which seems to dislike me..so I may think about a warning in the header.

About "sunburst" ? it isnt clear to me which models this is aimed to.
Probably you mean the shoulderpads?

A short desription of the pics content:

-in the front line: Metal vet sarge, plastic marines, metal sternguard, metal vets ( V1or 2?)
-second rank: plastic Marines with OOP LoD shoulderpads
-third and following ranks: old metal and plastic Termies, one WD-termie
-side line: Landspeeder with metal HF (tornado kit)

Update:

- all termies gathered. Based and basic paintjob.
- Landspeeder built and nearly painted.
- Tacs and dev marine built and basic paint.
- Sterns built and basic paint.
- Counts as Sicarius not built but soon.
- Command squad still to come.

i wish i has his resources, however good job man i can't wait to see some more

haha i don't think i would be good buying Gw because i'd want to dip my fingers into the development pot, and if i own it then i wouldn't feel comfortable doing that

If i had such an option i would much rather stick to the inventive side and get a job in the development team through my own merits...is it a possibility? never say never.

I like the premise of using fenrisian wolves but i would have thought a wolves with handler like the Khronate Ogryn Renegade with Hounds of Xaphan from forgeworld would have suited the theme better.

i say yes to a 3rd project yet i always have about 9 projects on the go at anyone time.
