2 more join the ranks of the White Raven

Well, as most of you may know, SoC has more than one purpose...

The first purpose everyone knows very well and so far we have succeeded. That purpose is to bring fellow Raven Guard players together and create a home of sorts for the chapter. To that extent, we've succeeded.

The Second purpose is something just as important as the first. That is to make the Raven Guard chapter more recognized for the truly awesome chapter that it is. This involves recruiting Raven Guard players, contributing articles and batreps for the betterment of Raven Guard brothers and sisters, and above all letting the world know that we're not just some chapter of marines painted black! We are the Sons of Corax!

To that purpose, the White Ravens project was created to reward and honour members who did do these things. For a long time, we had only one such member with the honour and duty. Not anymore...

Gather round brothers, It's been a long time since the ascension of Talonclaw to this title, and today as then, we have reason to rejoice! However, where last time we had one reason to celebrate, today we have two!

Today we celebrate two members who have contributed significantly to our community.

One brought us many Batreps for our consideration and has proven himself to be an active member of the community.
One performed the duties of a White Raven and brought us closer to other chapters, with that he also brought us our first online campaign.

Both have proven their worth, and it is my sincere belief that they will only continue to do so in future.

However, let us remember that this title serves not as a mere reward, but carries with it a burden of duty heavier than was once expected of them. It comes with a great of responsibility. White Ravens are an example to their peers here on SoC and should act accordingly. The title gives them no right to be arrogant, quite the opposite, it burdens them with the duty of watching their words and actions. I expect more contributions of quality from them in the future.

Furthermore, they have the duty of carrying the community's good name everywhere they go, be it the local GW or the other forums they visit.

With that in mind, Act accordingly. Carry our banner(a forum Sig) with you into the hearts of other forums and be an asset to all who cross your path.

Be Humble, Be Helpful, Be Honourable in all things you do.

Thank you Sy, and all of SoC for giving me a place to work on my list and put up battle reports for others. (Playing my next game this week, so hopefully it'll be up before next sunday.) Congrats to you Jasp, you definitely deserve the White Raven title.

I'd be more than happy to include the forum sig on other forums, just need a sig link or image link to actually get the sig...

Congratulations to the both of you. I know when I get home from work and see there has been 50+ posts, I'm excited for some good reading. Hopefully this will be an example for the rest of us.

Sorry Talonclaw, but I'm gonna be sticking to Cyan rather than orange. To bright for my tastes and at least this is a bit closer to the blue text I cannot use.

congrats to darkreever, hes certainly done alot for the forum, including correcting me when i get stuff wrong

but i feel that its because of all of you out there that makes it such a great place
