Well, as most of you may know, SoC has more than one purpose...

The first purpose everyone knows very well and so far we have succeeded. That purpose is to bring fellow Raven Guard players together and create a home of sorts for the chapter. To that extent, we've succeeded.

The Second purpose is something just as important as the first. That is to make the Raven Guard chapter more recognized for the truly awesome chapter that it is. This involves recruiting Raven Guard players, contributing articles for the betterment of Raven Guard brothers and sisters, and above all letting the world know that we're not just some chapter of marines painted black! We are the Sons of Corax!

To that purpose, the White Ravens project was created to reward and honour members who did do these things. For awhile, i thought that this project had failed because no one seemed to be participating and pushing for it. However, one individual has managed to meet the criterias for becoming a White Raven.

He once had no name of his own, taking the name of a famous character from the chapter. Now, he has ascended, and has taken a new name so that he can garner his honour to his own name.

Captain Shrike, today you cease to be...You are now White Raven Talonclaw!

Now before you start jumping for joy, i want you to understand that i don't give this rank lightly.

It comes with it a great amount of responsibility. You are an example to your peers here on SoC and should act accordingly. The title does not give you the right to be arrogant, quite the opposite, it burdens you with the duty of watching your words and your actions. I expect more contributions of quality from you in the future.

Beyond that you also have the duty of carrying the community's good name everywhere you go, be it your local GW or the other forums you visit, Act accordingly. Carry our banner(a forum Sig) with you into the hearts of other forums and be an asset to all who cross your path.

Be Humble, Be Helpful, Be Honourable in all things you do.

Don't worry...I've got my eye on some of you. Talonclaw may be the first White Raven, but he won't be the last. So keep up your contributions, and you will be rewarded accordingly.

I thought this one of a wise raven fitted the title far more, lol!
