Hey everybody, nice to be back here after a while. Right so I'm currently working on my Space Wlves, amongst other things, and have made my way up to the 1500pt mark.

HQ:
Bjorn the fell handed
Plasmacannon

Wolf Priest Alric Spiritwolf
Wolf tooth necklace; saga of the beastslayer; meltabombs

Troops:
Pack Tyr
9x Grey hunters
Meltagun; power weapon; mark of the wulfen
Rhino

Pack Egil
9x Grey hunters
Meltagun; power fist; mark of the wulfen
Rhino

Pack Heimdal
10x Grey hunters
2x Meltagun; power weapon; mark of the wulfen

Elites:
Wolf guard
Sven: Powerfist; combi-flamer [Pack Heimdal]
Kjarl: Thunderhammer [Pack Tyr]
Hogun: 2x Wolf claws [Pack Egil]

I have just some questions:

-who rides the LR? The 10x Grey hunter+wolfguard+wolfspriest maybe?
-your reason to field the wolfpriest. Dont see him often in SW lists now.

Yep, thats exactly who rides in it. I wanted to trya unit that does not force me to choose between the free second special weapon or the wolf guard. Not the cheapest of solutions, but the land raider is as much a fire magnet as Bjorn, though it does lack some of his survivability skills, instead it has more guns.

My old wolf company had a wolf priest attached to it so I wanted to give one a try and like you said, you don't see them to often. Then my wanting to not be like the bandwagon jumpers got me to keeping him, though I do also like using a rune priest, but that HQ will be reserved for larger games.
