Plastic scouts are a great improvement and got things like PF scouts possible.

So theyre black now.
Which flavor of scout paint scheme will we see on them?

Indeed, I considered Shotguns, it would have been nice to have more different models but
with the tactica I plan to use, there's little room for them.

If I play first, I plan to infiltrate and scoot move to get a first turn assault.
As you must stay 'more' than 12' from the enemy, you must use Fleet to get in contact.

So shotguns would only remove me some CC attacks, which I can't really afford with these ones.

Even when outflanking, my experience tell me you often need fleet to threat something.

But otherwise, on non-fleeting scout, I do agree that 2-4 shotguns can do havocs.

your tactics are sound. I'm doing a similar list but with Kahn as a leader. I'm using 2 storms, and maybe scout bikes. Its a mostly fluff list, so since I liked the look of the shotguns, I used them!

so... any progress? I'll be posting mine soon.
