I finished modelling Darius tonight.

I used him before in games, but he wasn't really WYSIWYG

I didn't like the big cake on top of the head, so I made a few changes,
and decided to use the huge book as a part of a shield.

Took a model i wasnt really fond of and made it alot more asthetically pleasing.

Nice little conversion there my friend. It looks quite seamless too =)

This Termie Libby was the first HQ choice I ever bought, and I hated it as soon as I got it into 5th (preferred my captain, naturally ) But to make it more pleasing, I switched the stormbolter hand to the 'pointing finger' hand, then sculpted some greenstuff from his palm, around his hand and out in a coil (and greenstuffed the stormbolter to his belt), so he now looks like he's doing something other than waving his storm bolter around. I dont know why, but I seem to have the urge to play him more these days, even against my better judgement (180points for a librarian? I could get Cassius for less!)

Looking forward to seeing this model all painted up!
