That was around the time i first got interested in 40k... I Remember Chaos Gate having those shoulder-mounted heavy bolters! (currently on the lookout for some of these models to add to my army...) I also remember Chaos Gate's grenade tossing-quote: "A gift from the emperor!" :)

I got involved at 11, drybrushing skeletons! And then painting space orks with humbrol paints ha ha. Oh it's been a long fun road..

Yup, only a wee teenager. Surprising 'int it? :P

I've tried to get my name out, but so far I haven't been approached or offered anything. People always suggest I try to get published, but I don't think they know how hard it is...

It is difficult, as a young graphic designer it was tough to break in too. The creative world is a bit of a fortress, you just have to find a way to get noticed. There must be young writers competions, scour the web! Is there a writers guild? maybe the GW writers have websites where you could see how they got a break or get tips to get in?

Best of luck mate, talented people get found eventually! and you have time on your side.

This thread is so far off topic now.. :)

So..I remember when blood bowl fever hit, nice to see the game making a digital comeback.

I remember when some "retro"-games were actual and fresh releases.Now I see some of them returning.

I remember when GW wasn't known outside of "nerd"-stores in Germany.Now you'll find Wd between other Hobbymag's.

i remember Chainsaw Warrior !!!!!!!!!!, Temporal Distort ! and somehow being able to put Psykers in dreadnoughts that could eject out to safety ! Imperial Robot Programmes :( and when Imperial Guard had Land Raiders and Land Sppeders and Mole Mortars and Thudd Guns and Beastmen units and Human Bombs and, and , and......
