tried to get a lil bit of tyrinid and bullet marks on the tank. can sorta see in the pics. Also Have a Dreadnought that Ill post later on with the scouts. This is my first ever go at this model thing so I think they came out ok. Still need to finish the based on a bunch. I want to get some sort of broken/ weathered tarmac look to them as I want to get enough troops for an apocolype battle.
Was thinking of making the whole chapter over time, but from what Ive researched theres ony 2 or 3 capitans for us :(
Any comments would be awsome

Hey Demon,

Looking good so far, and looks like a decent sized army too!

I reckon on the marines, a good couple of washes would really help the detail stand out, and a touch of highlighting on knee/shoulder pads would bring the models to life a little more.
The faces look pretty good so far. I'd be tempted to give them a little more color, but you're doing great and the pale skin sticks with fluff really well.

I think you might need to work on the eyes a little more to get a nice, crisp finish to the eye lenses on the helmet. Eye's on marines without a helmet are easy. Give them a touch of white paint, go back around the edges to cover up any mistakes there, then using a very very fine pen, pop a dot in the middle and bam, you're done.

As for basing, tarmac isn't really my thing (I do have a great technique for snow though!), so I'll leave that open for someone else to give ideas ;)

Keep up the good work matey ;)

yeah looks pretty solid man. washes are the best. Maybe give a drybrush and wash to the based materials too so they will pop a little more. Also i couldn't really tell in the pic but did you do any highlighting on the LR? it looked a little dark to me. You may have and i might just not be able to see it very well...edging up on 30 and all...

Highlighting on vehicles does bring them to life a little more, though getting the highlighting right can be a pain, especially on something the size of a LR.

Go on then Demon, how old are you? I'm 24 going on 40 ;)
