It still looks amazing whether its shrike or not :D but i do stand corrected :P and i cant wait to see your vindi and shrike.

today i have to add this beauty to my army:

plus 3 tactical marines i made no pics of, because they cant jump into battle without at leat two additional guy from my thrid tactical squad :)
this two guys are standing at my painting desk at the moment and wait to be basecoated...

Very nice!

You know, its a slippery slope. It starts with one Vindicator and ends with several. They are a lot of fun and you'll enjoy it. Just be aware that it will have very bad games, but then it will splat something important in the next. Fickle but fun.

Do the badges have any significance? the skull, lightning strike and single wing?

the skull s the campain marker my company fights in, i have introduced it a few month ago to get a link between all the non company units and my company. the other markers are signs of campains the vindicator fought earlier.
a vindicator is not attached to the companies, but to the arsenal and the master of the arsenal gives him to the forces who are in need of such an valueable tank...

i think about a second one, but at the other side my plans for my raven guard are long and i want to come to an end in the near future. i dont think i'll buy a second one. i will be able to field 3000 points of raven guard when im done and that should be enough, i have 3000 points of imperial guard that will need work when the new codex comes out :)

the raven is selfmade i made a master and a print of it. then i used that print to make a few of that ravens :)

if you can paint something freehand you can sculp it freehand...
(at least if its not that 3 dimensional and difficult)

I'll make some better pics when i have finished the two drop pods that wait on my desk. i think my army will be finished then. at least i wont buy new space marines stuff then next time, my guard needs some adjustments :)
I plan making some full army shots when I#m done with my RG you will get them at full resolution :)
