To celebrate the end of painting 3.6ks worth of Raven Guard I thought i'd put them and the fluff in a handy blog.

Yes, I am done. I feel I have done all I want to do with my Ravens and it will be time to move onto other projects * glances at the full moon*

I am happy with pretty much everything, and am enjoying the current store run campaign. The sense of completion is pleasant :) and I have a pretty decent pool of models to draw from. I've played over 40 regular games, 3 tournaments, 3 campaigns, tried numberless lists and rolled numberless dice for lightning claws. And i'm still going...

Enjoy, and let me know what you think. Just dont ask me to paint anything else :)

What an achievement ! Impressive work.

Anyway, what is striking in your painting is the entire coherence of your army. Very nice !

I wonder what is your agenda from now, your next projects ?

Well done.

thanks Aldebaran, there are some units I would have liked to have done more options for. But overall i'm pleased I'm sure i'll revist and update come 6th ed. I have to admit that 3.6k just crept up, but I have a few expenisve units in there and only 3 troop choices. Oh well.

Next is the space wolves come october. More conversion possibilities and probably a dabble into greenstuff.

*bows*

y'know i've always thought there were gaming people, painting people and hobby people, and all of them were seperate, and everyone was either one or the other. Its rare to see someone do all three to such the high standard you have, and this showcase proves it. It's wierd, that one such person could support, teach and suceed in so many aspects, and you show what we all may achieve if we put in the time and effort, and for that you have my thanks (even though when i look at your stuff it makes me want to repaint my whole army :D)

you'll have to hang around here for a while yet, i'll have to russle up a prize for you and the 8th's efforts in hexperax but untill then

good luck with the space puppies :D

But seriously, they look great and I can't wait to see your Wolves when the new boxes are released.

Wow, glowing praise guys. Not sure its all worthy, but thanks :)

I would urge you all to finish your armies, as the sense of completion is very rewarding. Then post so i can see pretty pics!

The 8th have many games to play yet and I would deeply love to win a tournament. So close, yet so far...
