I remember the likes of space crusade, and when the Rainbow Warriors were not a part of space marine history GW has tried to forget.

I also remember when the warhammer and warhammer 40k universes were not entirely separate.

...like when it was rumoured that Sigmar was a primarch.

I remember when the Dark Eldar codex came out...(still sad they haven't gotten a new book).

I remember...SPACE HULK the video game

I remember Imperial Guardsmen on Jetbikes... and Space Marines with Eldar Shuriken Pistols... oh, and The Flamer upgrade to a suit of terminator armor popped right on top of the storm bolter.

I remember all those things..fondly

I remember dark future, a mad max style game with cars and guns. games like Space crusade and hero quest too.

Also hover boards in rogue trader. I had the original space marine jetbike too, wow what a bad model.

Who still has a copy of Rogue Trader? those that havent seen the book would be shocked! You actually needed a GM to play it correctly. You also rolled a D100 to generate psi powers. I'd highly recomend getting hold of a copy, see where it all began!

At games day I went along the history section with vast amounts of nostalgia. So cool.

Oh, I remember a Citadel Indiana Jones mini who was called "Archaeologist" (Sadly I also remember giving him to someone to paint up real nice, and never seeing it again)

ha ha..with age comes wisdom ;)

Get hold of Rogue Trader, it's 40K undiluted, the original STC. If you like your fluff it's packed. Its a vintage, bit ugly but built well. The new 40k is a sports car with cheap plasticy bits in the interior and wobbles on corners ;)

You'll notice there is a 'battle for the farm' in the back of Rogue Trader with Crimson Fists and orks.. fast forward to new space marine dex and look out for the Crimson Fist Kantor fluff that mentions him hiding out in a farm. Nice touch.

I've had too much nostalgia, I need to go and watch Jase and the wheeled warriors a few times.

I don't remember Rogue Trader...I think it was before I was even born...

Saw a copy at Games Day, but it was in a glass box.
