Greetings fellow Ravens!

I am a fairly new WH40K player when it comes to tabletop, although I've been interested in the fluff for quite a length of time. Glad to see a forum dedicated specifically to Raven Guard, who seemed to be underrepresented elsewhere despite there being an enormous amount of potential both with fluff and with play style.

At the moment I am trying to finish my Raven Guard force, which, when expanded sufficiently, is intended to model the entire 3rd Company with anything they might be expected to have available (whether or not the use some of those assets, such as mechanized support or Terminators, is a whole other story). At the moment my assembled and painted force is just around 1,600 points, and with the models I have not assembled and painted, it will be closer to 2,100... enough for a reasonably lengthy game if need be, although I am more of a casual player than a competitive one.

That said, glad to be here!

Hi there,

The playstyle mention you made is especially important in my eyes.
Try to give your opponents a good time by playing
something different from a SM classic list is very rewarding.

Welcome to SoC forums !

Welcome to the Shadows brother!

First off, i should be the bad guy here, and point you over to the Corax Charter (click on this) . It is basically the official guidelines of conduct, the rules, abit of fluff about things you probably will see round here (like the White Ravens)

Other than that, we all would very much like to see your army, we love new armies to see on here :D Hope you find enlightenment and a good time here.

How come the guys who talks about the corax charter is the bad man, that used to be my job :D

its good that you are here anyways, and if you always remember what brought you to raven guard you'll be a superb raven guard commander. If you need any advice i'm sure someone round here will be able to help. :D

can't wait to see more from you, and i think we're all magpies so shiny pics never go down badly :D

Thank you for the welcome, and I will definitely be posting more pictures of my Raven Guard :) Hoping to get some battle reports worth posting soon as well, and perhaps exchange tactical tips with the other fellow Ravens.
