Greetings all

I'm a newbie RG player, returning to the game after an extended leave of absence (since 3rd ed). Glad to have stumbled on this forum; it's my first foray onto the boards but there's so much good stuff here I couldn't afford not to. I'm getting my first 1500 up and running as I type, trying to keep it as fluffy as possible. Looking forward to returning to a hobby I enjoyed, with the promise of a great new army! See you in the dark...

Its good to have you here, and you've decided on a fluffy type army. The Raven Guard are a really Characterfull force and i hope you can learn alot from your visits here and can teach us some things too

If you want any advice about making a fluffy list, painting that signature black or if you want to forray into the cave of the fluff monkeys then i'm sure theres people and threads out their suited just for that purpose, all you have to do is ask and start posting.

we all love seeing new stuff so post up WIP and your lists or army pictures, as well as your first steps into battle with them. BUT most importantly, have fun and make yourself at home.

Good to be on board. Having checked dates etc I actually started out in the heady days of 2nd ed, when I was about 12 I think! Ran a Chaos army back then (thinking for some reason being bad was cool...) - was big gun heavy as I couldn't get my head round the CC rules It evolved into an Iron Warriors siege type effort for 3rd ed, when I became interested in the fluff a bit more.

I'll be posting some lists and photos of WIP colour schemes in a bit, c&c from the vets always appreciated!
